Plumbing saves lives. Plumbing improves the world. Plumbers are systemically relevant in the Corona crisis.

Today we celebrate the World plumbing day! World Plumbing Day was created in October 2009 by the World Plumbing Council. The idea is to pause to reflect on the vital role plumbing has in improving life conditions.

World Plumbing Day allows us that are part of the plumbing industry to come together to learn from each other and find opportunities to collaborate to improve the quality of, and access to, fresh water and safe sanitation.

March 11 World Plumbing Day is now fixed on calendars around the world including within the industry itself, political and social institutions across the globe. Although the tasks and roles differ from country to country, they have one thing in common: the responsibility towards society and the population. The responsibility to use the available resources in such a way that the basic supply of water, heat and air is ensured for the people in their immediate living and working environment for many generations to come.
